PROFESSIONAL HANDLING LESSONS |
|
|
AKC Junior handling is a very competitive arena for handlers between the ages of 10 to 18. By winning at certain number of "local" shows, a junior can qualify to compete at the National level at Westminster Kennel Club and the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship. Junior handlers often move up to being very successful professional handlers once they have graduated from Juniors. TNT is currently mentoring Junior Handlers and new adult exhibitors, helping them to find dogs that are suitable, sharpen their handling and grooming skills to become more competitive, helping them to build confidence, and just teaching you what this dog world is "all about." We will work with you no matter what breed you choose although our primary breed is Shelties. If you are wanting to become a junior handler or are an adult who is relatively new to the dog world, and want some info on how to get started, or would just like some help on how to become more competitive, please feel free to email Katy for more information! |
